Computed Tomography (CT) is a modality that used x-ray for cross-sectional imaging of the body. The image produced will undergoing reconstruction process until the radiograph (image) is produced. The radiograph produced show the structure of the body in detail viewing.
CT scan is able to detect accurately the location of tumor and determine the size of the tumor. This information is important before any therapy or operation can be performed.
CT-Scan covers parts of the body such as the brain, head, lungs, chest, pelvis, neck, abdomen, upper extremity, lower extremity and others.
