KUALA LUMPUR - In conjunction with International Women's Day, the Nuclear Diagnostic Imaging Center (PPDN) in collaboration with Advanx Health has conducted a Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Screening Program on 18 March 2023 using ultrasound modality. The program was organized by Lumirous Sdn Bhd was conducted at Kafe Mori Kohi, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur as a location sponsor, targets women aged between 20 - 60 years.

This screening was done by Prof. Associate Professor Dr Suraini binti Mohamad Saini, Radiologist is also Deputy Director of PPDN, along with four students from Lincoln University. Prof. Associate Dr. Suraini also had the opportunity to share some knowledge about PCOS to the visitors who attended.

It is hoped that by organizing a program like this, PPDN will be able to provide general awareness to the public about PCOS and non-communicable diseases.
