11 April 2026 – A Continuing Medical Education (CME) session titled “Elderly Medicine: Frailty” was delivered by Professor Dr Fathinul Fikri Bin Ahmad Saad from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The session provided comprehensive insights into the concept of frailty among the elderly, including clinical assessment approaches and effective management strategies to improve the quality of life of geriatric patients.

The knowledge-sharing session was attended by staff from the Centre for Diagnostic Nuclear Imaging (PPDN) as well as Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), offering an opportunity to enhance clinical knowledge and practices in geriatric medicine.

It is hoped that the knowledge gained will contribute towards delivering more holistic and high-quality healthcare services to the community.
