12 May 2026, Nilai – Prof. Dr. Subapriya Suppiah, Director of the Centre for Diagnostic Nuclear Imaging (PPDN), together with Ms Ida Nur Syafinaz Muhammad Fuad, Administrative Assistant Officer of PPDN, attended the URIIS 2026 Pre-Event 4 held at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).

The programme was part of the Road to URIIS 2026 initiative organised by USIM in strategic collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Department of Higher Education (JPT) to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and industry partners.

The session gathered a total of 89 participants, comprising representatives from universities and industry delegates. The encouraging participation reflected a strong commitment towards enhancing innovation ecosystems, knowledge exchange, and strategic networking opportunities between academia and industry.

PPDN’s participation in this programme is expected to create greater opportunities for strategic collaboration while supporting research, innovation, and industry development initiatives in line with the university’s aspirations.
